Making a Contract
I am a hobbyist silversmith, therefore all products are handmade and processed by myself.
By placing an order with Marna Bell Jewellery, you have read and agreed to these terms, including privacy and refund policies.
You will be contacted if the product you ordered cannot be supplied, or if there has been a pricing error. This is to discuss the appropriate action, e.g., full refund, a substitute product incurring a part refund or extra payment as required.
These terms and conditions have been written to comply with current UK legislation and advice provided by www.gov.uk.
Product Images and Description
Every effort is taken to ensure that images displayed and product information are as accurate as possible.
Each item of jewellery is handmade upon receipt of your order. Due to the irregularities in gemstones and the handmade nature of the work there may be very slight variations from that of the photograph.
Marna Bell Jewellery considers that the photographs accurately show the colours of the jewellery displayed on the website; however, the colours may vary depending on your individual computer’s display settings.
Packaging
Your order is sent in a beautiful, branded Marna Bell Jewellery, white linen effect gift box.
Components
All jewellery on this site has been handmade by Marna Bell. All items are sterling silver (.925) or fine silver (.999) unless otherwise stated. Some pieces may feature pre-made components, for example, clasps and chains.
Gold accents will either be 9ct or 18ct yellow gold unless otherwise stated.
Hallmarking
UK law requires single items of silver jewellery that weights above 7.78 g in weight; or gold 1 g, needs to be hallmarked. Single silver items below this weight does not need to be hallmarked. In these cases, it is an optional choice for the maker whether or not to submit lower weight items for hallmarking. Hallmarking is usually a quick process – typically a few days, please be aware that this depends on the workload at the Assay Office. This may impact on how quickly the item can be returned for dispatch. Individual component items weighing below 7.78 gs may contain a ‘925’ mark indicating that it is sterling silver.
Payment
Payment for all orders placed is through Paypal. You do not need to have a Paypal account to pay this way. You will be returned to www.marnabelljewellery.co.uk on completing payment for your order.
VAT
Marna Bell Jewellery is not VAT registered.
Delivery
Please see the Delivery page for full details. To amend an order or delivery address, please contact Marna Bell Jewellery immediately. Marna Bell Jewellery will do the best to make amendments prior to dispatch, but cannot guarantee changes can be made once an order is processed.
Returns and Exchanges
You can find full details of the Returns Policy here. This Returns Policy does not affect your statutory rights.
All bespoke and personalised items are non-refundable.
Complaints
The following terms and conditions do not affect your statutory consumer rights. If goods do not reach you in good condition or are faulty, carriage costs for the affected portion of delivery back to Marna Bell Jewellery will be refunded. You must contact Marna Bell Jewellery within 14 calendar days of receipt to arrange return delivery. Complaints are acknowledged within 2 working days. You will be kept informed about the progress of your complaint. Marna Bell Jewellery will only credit you for the items that have been damaged or are faulty upon safe receipt of the goods into our hands. Refunds are paid within 30 days of the agreement to refund.
Data Protection
Marna Bell Jewellery complies with the GDPR in handling your personal data. Information provided is treated in strict confidence and is stored in a secure location. Termination
Marna Bell Jewellery reserves the right to stop access to its Internet services if any behaviour is found to be in breach of these terms and conditions at any time.
